I have felt way safer at homestays and hostels compared to hotels EVEN IF the hotel has a ton of reviews online. As much as I love to support small businesses sometimes it is safer and more worthwhile to book a Madpackers, Zostel or Moustache because you know exactly what you are going to be getting! <3
